Jejím cílem je analyzovat proces adaptace nově příchozího seniora do Domova na Dómském pahorku v Litoměřicích, a navrhnout případné změny. Teoretická část je zaměřena na pojmy, které s touto problematikou souvisí. Jedná se především o stáří, význam rodiny pro seniora, systém zdravotní a sociální péče a faktory ovlivňující adaptaci. Praktická část se zabývá osobním šetřením na toto téma v zařízení jak mezi seniory, tak mezi pracovníky personálu. Šetření bylo prováděno metodou kvalitativního výzkumů za pomoci upřesňujících otázek během rozhovoru. V závěru práce je analyzován adaptační proces a uvedeny osobní připomínky, poznatky a návrhy k danému tématu. The Bachelor thesis engages in the adaptation of the eldery to the stay in the senior living. Its goal is to analyse the process of the adaptation of a new-coming senior to the facility Domov na Domskem pahorku in Litomerice and to propose possible inovations. Theoretical part is focused on definition of terms related to the topic. It is mainly about old age, meaning of the family for the senior, health care and social security systems and factors that affect the process of adaptation. Practical part of the Thesis engages in personal research of those topics at the facility, both among seniors and the staff. The research was concluded by qulitative research and additional clarifying question during the interviews. At the end of the Thesis, the process of adaptation itself is examined.
