Název a text práce v anglickém jazyce Abstract Tato bakalářská práce s názvem "Člověk a jeho egoistická touha kontrolovat přírodu v díle P. K. Dicka Sní androidi o elektrických ovečkách?" se zaobírá problematikou božského komplexu postav a jeho následným dopadem na vztah k přírodě. Cílem této práce je ukázat následky božského komplexu spojeného se zánikem přírody v tomto díle z pohledu ekokritiky. Tato práce obsahuje analýzu postav ve spojení s božským komplexem, ale také jaké jsou následky jejich činů, když se staví do pozic s mocí, nad kterou nemají kontrolu. Dále práce pojednává o tom, jak oddělení od přírody ovlivňuje postavy a jejich pohled na zvířata, a jak kompenzují nedostatek přírody idolizováním zvířat, aneb posledním pozůstatkem přírody. This bachelor thesis titled "Human egoistical desire to control nature in P. K. Dick's Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" deals with the issue of god complex of characters and the way it affects nature. Its aim is to show the consequences of god complex in relation to destruction of nature in this work, from the point of view of ecocriticism. The work contains analysis of characters in relation to god complex, and what are the consequences of their actions when assuming positions with power beyond their control. It also explores how disconnection from nature affects characters and their perception of animals, and how they compensate for the lack of nature by idolizing animals as the last remnant of natural world.
