Oponent Klára Kolinská Abstract Cílem této diplomové práce je provést komplexní literární a lingvistickou analýzu knih Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865) a Through the Looking Glass (1871) od Lewise Carrolla a na jejich základě posoudit kvalitu a věrnost překladů vybraných úryvků tohoto díla, které vyhotovili studenti anglistiky v bakalářském studiu na Univerzitě J. E. Purkyně v seminářích literárního překladu. Teoretická část je zaměřena na teorii překladu a komplexní literární a lingvistickou analýzu díla. V praktické části je pomocí komparativní analýzy provedeno hodnocení překladů studentů a konkrétní úryvky jsou porovnány s překlady Jaroslava Císaře a Aloyse a Hany Skoumalových. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty detekované jevy, které dělaly studentům při překladu problémy. The aim of this diploma thesis is to make complex literary and linguistic analysis of Lewise Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865) and Through the Looking Glass (1871) and according to them asses the quality and adequacy of translated texts of these works made by bachelor students at J. E. Purkyně University in literary translation seminars. The theoretical part is focused on translation theory and complex literary and linguistic analysis of the work. In the practical part, students' translations are assessed through comparative analysis and selected parts of the texts are compared with translations by Jaroslav Císař and Aloys and Hana Skoumalovi.
