Oponent Jiří Pernes Abstract Předmětem této diplomové práce je historie českých škol v Duchcově v letech 1885-1938. V úvodní části představujeme stručnou historii Duchcova od konce 19. století do roku 1918. Je nastíněna problematika příchodu Čechů do vnitrozemí a následující boj českých spolků za vznik první české školy. Práce se věnuje také celorepublikovému vývoji školství od roku 1867 do roku 1938. V souvislosti s postupným rozvojem českých škol v pohraničí zmiňujeme hierarchicky podle vzniku české školy, a to od předškolní péče po střední školství. Nezbytnou součástí je každodennost v místních školách a budování nových prostor, které s sebou neslo řadu úskalí. In this dissertation I am going to deal with the history of Czech schools in years 1885- 1938. In the introductory part I will present a brief history of Duchcov from the end of the 19th century to 1918. In the next part I also deal with the issue of the arrival Czech people inland and the following fighting of Czech associations for the formation of the first Czech school. In this work I also deal with the national development of education from 1867 to 1938. In connection with the progressive expansion of Czech schools in the border areas, I mention Czech schools hierarchically according to their origin, from pre-school care to secondary education.
