The diploma thesis focuses on thephrasemes' occurrence with a mouth component and its synonyms in the Czech National Corpus. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The focus of the theoretical part is on the phraseology and idiom knowledge as a field of science. Attention is also paid to the Czech National Corpus. The analytical part collects the acquired information about phrasemes with a mouth component and its synonyms occurring in synchronous corpuses of the Czech National Corpus.
