První část práce vymezuje základní pojmy divadelní vědy, které ovšem nacházejí uplatnění i v uměleckém diskurzu. Osvětluje pojmy jako scénologie, performativita, teatralita a další.Scénografii uvádí do historického kontextu v souvislosti s výtvarným uměním i se specifiky českého prostředí. Druhá část diplomové práce se pak věnuje popisu a analýze podob scénografie v pracích čtyř vybraných současných umělců Josefa Bolfa, Evy Koťátkové, Michala Pěchoučka a Jána Mančušky, čímž demonstruje vzájemné přesahy divadelní a výtvarné tvorby. The thesis "Current forms of scenography in realizations of contemporary visual artists" aims at highlighting the overlaps, respectively the differences of theater scenography and visual arts, as well as differences in the thinking about the stage design by the stage designer and the visual artist. The first part of the thesis defines the basic concepts of the theatrical science, which,however, can be used in artistic discourse too. It explains concepts such as scenology,performance, theatricality, and more. Scenography it introduces in the historical context in relation to the visual arts and the specifics of the Czech environment. The second part of the diploma thesis deals with the description and analysis of scenography in the works of four chosen contemporary artists Josef Bolf, Eva Koťátková,Michal Pěchouček and Ján Mančuška, demonstrating the mutual overlaps of theatrical and artwork.
