Bajka je součástí Petiškova souboru německých pohádek Sedmikráska, který poprvé vyšel ve Státním nakladatelství dětské knihy v roce 1960 za doprovodu ilustrací Jiřího Trnky. Teoretická část nejrpve vymezuje jednotlivé termíny a sleduje tendence dětské ilustrace na konkrétních příkladech vybraných autorů. Praktická část detailně popisuje postup tvorby od výběru tématu k finálnímu zpracování. This master thesis is devoted to the illustration and graphic adaptation of the fable The Mouse, the Bird, and the Sausage from author Eduard Petiška. This fable is part of Petiška´s set of german fairy tales Daisy first edited in National publishing house for children´s books in 1960 and illustrated by Jiří Trnka. The theoretic part first introduces particular terms and focuses on actual tendencies of children´s books of chosen authors.
