Bakalářská práce se zabývá především analýzou stanovení pojmu odcizení a odhalením podstat metafor Pink Floyd pro následné porovnání s idejemi existencialismu. According to the abstractor's opinion, Pink Floyd lyrics and song's character express thoughts and ideas inspired by philosophy of existentialism, since alienation is the leitmotif of band's most significant albums "The Dark Side of the Moon", "Wish You Were Here", "Animals" and "The Wall". The main goal of the bachelor's work is to analyse the development of alienation concept and to reveal the essence of Pink Floyd metaphors for further comparison with the ideas of existentialism.
