This Bachelor´s thesis is especially focused on Scandinavian Thrillers. It contains also chapters dedicated to development of detective novel and its classification within the historical background of literature. It defines basic differences between clasic and today´s considerably popular Scandinavian Thrillers focusing on setting, authors, main characters and socio-critical overlap, which is typical for these stories. It researches from what reason those literary works are in the major places in literary rankings of popularity and why readers and critics rate them mostly positively. Another responsib.
