V teoretické části práce je charakterizován CrossFit, zmíněna jeho historie, soutěže a jejich princip. Uvedeny jsou zde také jeho specifické metody rozvoje pohybových schopností, koncept tréninkového plánu a používané testy pro měření výkonnosti. Ve výzkumné části testujeme účinnost použitého tréninkového plánu pomocí tří skupin testů, ve kterých je použita testová baterie UNIFITTEST (6-60), výkonnostní testy CrossFitu a testy zjišťující maximální váhu, kterou proband dokáže v jednom opakování překonat. This thesis is concerned with the improvement of physical skills by using methods and exercises of the new sport called CrossFit. The term CrossFit and also its history, competitions and their principles are characterized in the theoretical part. There are also mentioned its specific methods of the improvement of the physical skills, the concept of the training plan and tests used as benchmark workouts. We test the effectivity of the training plan we used in the empirical part of the thesis by three groups of specific tests, in which the UNIFITTEST (6-60) testing system, CrossFit benchmark workouts and 1RM (repetition max) tests are used.
