Teoretická část práce obsahuje vysvětlení pojmu statutárních měst a jejich stručnou charakteristiku. Dále je objasněn pojem sčítání, spolu s popisem SLDB 2001, 2011 a jejich použitá metodika. Praktická část bakalářské práce nejprve porovnává výsledky SLDB 2011 za jednotlivá statutární města. Vybrány byly ukazatele: věk, ekonomická aktivita, úroveň vzdělání, rodinný stav a způsob bydlení obyvatel. V poslední části je srovnání jednotlivých ukazatelů mezi SLDB 2001 a 2011 spojeno s porovnáním výsledků za celý Ústecký kraj. The Bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the population living in the statutory cities of the Ústí Region, and changes in selected indicators based on population and housing censuses held in 2001 and 2011. The theoretical part of the thesis contains an explanation of the term statutory cities, and a brief summary of their characteristics. Furthermore, the term census is clarified along with a description of the 2001 and 2011 population and housing censuses and the methodology used therein. The practical part of the Bachelor thesis initially compares the results of the 2011 population and housing census for the individual statutory cities. The following indicators have been selected: age, economic activity, level of education, marital status, and housing arrangements of the population. In the final part, a comparison of the individual indicators between the 2001 and 2011 population and housing censuses is linked with a comparison of the results for the entire Ústí Region.
