Popisuje význam šesti stěžejních principů kemalismu. Jako příklad praktického fungování ideologie uvádí reformy a změny. Poskytuje náhled do podoby dnešního Turecka s důrazem na odkaz zakladatele republiky Kemala Atatürka. Přibližuje systém a vývoj tureckého sekularismu v 21. století a snaží se zachytit specifické znaky demokracie v této zemi. Pokládá si otázku, zda demokracie v Turecké republice funguje a je přijímána společností. This thesis looks into the period of the Turkish Republic in the years 1923-1938. Giving the interperetation of ideology of Kemalism by means of historical events and political philosophy. Attention is paid to the disintegration of the Ottoman Empire, to founding the republic and to person of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Thesis describes the sence of the six fundamental principles of Kemalism. Reforms and changes take place as an example of the practical part of ideology. Gives insight into contemporary Turkish Republic, with emphasis on the legacy of Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Republic. Thesis describes system and the development of Turkish secularism in the 21st century and tries to catch the specific features of democracy in Turkey.
