Časově rozpětí článků začíná rokem 1921 a končí v roce 1926. V tomto období docházelo ke změně postoje německých politických stran ČSR vůči novému státu; tedy od počátečního negativního stanoviska k tzv. aktivismu, ochotě spolupracovat s ČSR. Cílem mé práce je zjistit, zda se v Eisnerových článcích projevily snahy o kulturní sblížení Čechů a Němců, a pokud ano, jakými prostředky se toho snažil docílit. Zároveň reflektuji, nakolik je Eisnerova činnost v souladu s vývojem politického aktivismu. Eisner se ve svých článcích zabývá historií i současností kulturního soužití Němců a Čechů v ČSR. Na této bázi glosuje jeho stav, uvádí výhody soužití a formuluje úkoly, které s sebou tato provázanost přináší. In my thesis, I focused on a content analysis of selected papers written by Pavel/Paul Eisner in Prager Presse. The time span of these articles begins in 1921 and ends in 1926. In this period, the attitude of German political parties towards newly established Czechoslovakia changed, i.e. from an initial negative stance on so-called activism resulting in a willingness to cooperate with Czechoslovakia. The goal of my work is to find out whether the articles by Eisner demonstrated efforts of cultural rapprochement between Czechs and Germans, and if so, by what means did Eisner try to achieve them. At the same time I also show interest in the extent to which Eisner activities are in a correlation with the development of political activism. In his articles, Eisner deals with both history and present of cultural coexistence of Germans and Czechs in Czechoslovakia. On the basis of his comments, Eisner reflects on the condition of this coexistence, introduces its benefits and formulates the tasks being brought by this mutual bond. Another responsib.
