Je položena na analýze a recepcích románu Dvanáct obručí, jehož autorem je současný v Německu nejznámější ukrajinský spisovatel Juri Andruchovyč. Práce nejprve zařadí dílo do literárního kontextu, přičemž bude vysvětlen pojem "Postmoderní Karneval". Posléze popíše autorův život a jeho vztah k Německu. Samotná interpretace románu se zaměří na rozbor postav a popis vztahů mezi Ukrajinou a Rakouskem. V poslední části bude na základě vybraných recenzí zhodnoceno přijetí díla v Německu. The thesis deals with the issue of acceptance the Ukrainian literature in Germany. It would be based on the analysis and reception of the novel Twelve Rings. The author of the book is contemporary the most famous Ukrainian writer in Germany Juri Andrukhovych. The study has four main purposes. The first aim is to set the novel into the literary context. The literary movement of "Postmodern Carnival" will be characterized. The second goal is to demonstrate the life of Andrukhovych and to describe his relation to Germany. The analysis of the book will be focused on the main characters and on the relationship between Ukraine and Austria. The last part of the study looks into reception of the book in Germany.
