V úvodní části práce je region Litoměřicka popsán z hlediska významných památek, turisticky přitažlivých míst či jiných zajímavostí, značná část je zde také věnována městu Litoměřice jako významnému středisku cestovního ruchu v regionu. Cestovní ruch jako téma diplomové práce je obecně zarámován, je zde analyzován cestovní ruch města a regionu a porovnán s obecnými trendy cestovního ruchu. Stěžejní částí práce je ta, která se zabývá analýzou specifického cestovního ruchu Litoměřicka na základě dotazníkových šetření. Zde jsou uvedeny a zhodnoceny výsledky dotazníkových šetření segmentů mladistvé populace a zahraničních návštěvníků, které autorce umožnily komplexnější analýzu části problematiky cestovního ruchu. Část práce se věnuje logu (brand) regionu Litoměřicka a Zahrady Čech. Je zde analyzován vývoj výstavy Zahrada Čech od počátku pořádání výstav až do současnosti. Navrženy jsou zde také možné vhodné podnikatelské záměry ke zlepšení atraktivity a počtu návštěvníků v oblasti. V závěru je zhodnocen fenomén cestovní ruch, nastíněny celosvětové trendy a současný vývoj cestovního ruchu a navrženy potenciální možnosti příznivého rozvoje cestovního ruchu Litoměřicka. This dissertation researches deals with the analysis of tourism in Litoměřice region. The introduction part describes the region of Litoměřice from the point of view of the significant sights, atrractive tourists places or other curiosities. Considerable part is dedicated to Litoměřice city as an important center of the tourism in Litoměřice region. Tourism as a thesis topic is generally framed and after that, the tourism of Litoměřice city and Litoměřice region is analyzed and compared with the general trends of tourism. The main part of the dissertation deals with the analysis of specific tourism of Litoměřice region based on questionnaires. There are presented and evaluated results of the questionnaires in segments of youthful population and foreign visitors which enabled complex analysis of the part of the tourism issues. Other part of the dissertation is dedicated to the brand of Litoměřice region and Zahrada Čech. There is analyzed the development of exhibition Zahrada Čech from the beginning of exhibitions until now. Also, there are suggested possible appropriate business plans to improve the attractiveness and the number of visitors in the area. In the conclusion is also an evaluation of phenomenon of tourism, outlined global trends together with current development of tourism and suggested the possibility of a favourable development of tourism in Litoměřice region.
