V teoretické části je čtenář seznámen s osobností sběratele Pavla Krejčího a specifikou severočeského folklórního prostředí. Hlavní empirická část se zabývá jednotlivými folklórními soubory, jejich historií i aktuální situací. Závěrečná část práce je věnována Mezinárodnímu folklórnímu festivalu v Jablonci nad Nisou. The aim of this thesis is to map the present situation of a folklore life in the Liberec region. Theoretical part introduces a personality of the collector Pavel Krejčí and describes the specifics of a north Bohemian folklore scene. The main empiric part is concerned with particular folklore groups, their history and current situation.
