První část práce se zabývá klasifikacemi metod tematické kartografie, rozborem policejní databáze dopravních nehod a rozborem současné problematiky vizualizace. Ve druhé části jsou data dopravní nehodovosti analyzována s ohledem na možnost zpracování v GIS a vizualizována vhodnými metodami tematické kartografie. Výsledné mapy jsou součástí této práce. The goal of this thesis is to analyze , design and realize possibilities of visualization of dat of traffic accidents in Pilsen region using mapping techniques of thematic cartography. First partt of the thesis is focused on possibilities of methods classification, analysis the data of traffic accidents and obtainable sources. Second part of the thesis analyses the chosen data from the GIS processing point of view followed by visualization by suitable mapping techniques of thematic cartography. Maps are parts of this work.
