V úvodu práce budou vyložena relevantní teoretická východiska (teorie druhořadých voleb a možný vliv "evropských" faktorů na úspěšnost jednotlivých politických stran). Následně budou stručně prezentovány volby do Evropského parlamentu 2004 a předvolební kampaň před volbami v roce 2009. Konečně hlavní část práce se bude věnovat analýze voleb do Evropského parlamentu v roce 2009 (volební účast, zisky vládních a opozičních stran, zisky malých, neparlamentních a radikálních stran, vliv evropské tematiky na úspěšnost stran), přičemž výsledky voleb budou sledovány a komparovány s předchozími volebními kláními, jak na celostátní úrovni, tak na úrovni jednotlivých krajů. The topic of my thesis is an analysis of the elections to the European Parliament in 2009 in the Czech Republic using the Second-Order election model. The subject of the Second-Order elections will be explained in the introduction of this thesis. In the next section, the election to the European Parliament in 2004 and election campaigne before european election in 2009 will be concisely presented. The main part of this thesis will discuss an analysis of election to the European Parliament in 2009 (election participation, gains of goverment and opposition parties, small, non-parliamentary and radikal parties, effect of european themes on the success of parties). All results of elections will be monitored and compared with the previous elections in national level and with elections in individual regions. Another responsib.
