Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou popsány typy, složení odpadních vod a procesy čištění odpadní vody, kde je kladen důraz na biologický stupeň. V neposlední řadě literární rešerše uvádí aktuální evropskou i českou legislativu související s čištěním odpadních vod. V praktické části jsou nejprve shrnuty informace o výstavbě čistírny v letech 1969 - 1971 a dále je chronologicky v časové ose popsán soubor hlavních intenzifikací a modernizací na této čistírně odpadních vod od její výstavby. Následně se bakalářská práce věnuje popisu stávající technologie čištění a na základě dostupných informací a dat je kompletně vyhodnocena účinnost čistírenské technologie za sledované období 2011 - 2013 v čistírně odpadních vod Rakovník. Bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of effectiveness of treatment technology after few intensifications and modernizations during 43 years of usage in the present waste water treatment plant. Thesis is split to theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part are described types, content of waste water and processes of waste water treatment, where is put main aim to biological part. Last but not least the literature review showed actual European and Czech legislation for waste water treatment. In the practical part there is firstly summarization of facts from plant construction in years 1969 - 1971 and next there is chronologically in time axis described main intensification arrangements and modernization in this plant from its construction. Than bachelor thesis deals with description of treatment technology and on the basis of known information and data is made evaluation of effectiveness of treatment technology for period 2011 - 2013 in water treatment plant Rakovník.
