Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy související s bezdomovectvím, jejich formy a příčiny, možnosti prevence a popsány zde jsou i sociální služby poskytované osobám bez domova. Praktická část je věnována jak analýze sociálních služeb a služeb poskytovaných ze strany města, tak i vlastnímu kvalitativnímu výzkumu, který byl realizován s bezdomovci a se sociálními pracovníky ve městě Sokolov. Dále obsahuje popis výzkumného vzorku, způsob jeho pořízení a stručnou charakteristiku všech účastníků. Tento výzkum je zaměřen především na využívání sociálních služeb sokolovskými bezdomovci, dalších možnostech pomoci a na jejich ztrátu bydlení a zaměstnání, denní režim a řešení života na ulici. This bachelor thesis is focused on homeless´s situation in Sokolov. The thesis is divided into the two parts - theoretical and practical. I explained elementary terms connected to the homelessness and its types, causes and possibilities of prevention in the theoretical part. Then I described the welfare services which are provided to persons without home. The practical part is about the analysis of the welfare sevices and services given by the municipality and about my own qualitative research. This research was realised with homeless persons and social workers in Sokolov. The research containes description of the research sample, the way how I took it and short characteristic of all participants. This research is concentrated mainly on using the welfare services by homelesses in Sokolov, some other opportunities how to help, on their loss of housing and jobs, daily regime and dealing with life on the streets.
