Důležitou roli v tomto smyslu sehrával hlavně jezuitský řád, podle jehož vzoru utvářely své školy i jiné řády, např. piaristé. Piaristé založili ve Slaném roku 1658 svou druhou kolej na území Čech a současně svou pátou nejstarší kolej na našem území. Předkládaná bakalářská práce přibližuje vývoj gymnázia ve Slaném v letech 1878 ? 1920. Práce blíže sleduje pedagogický sbor, počty žáků a jejich sociální skladbu, proměny ve výuce a úspěšnost ve studiu, a to na základě provedených sond, dále též problematiku maturitních zkoušek nebo významné osobnosti, které jsou s gymnáziem do určité míry spojeny. The Catholic Church was using schools as a main tool for the effort of recatholisation. The Jesuit Order enacted very important role in this process. In accordance to Jesuit model, other schools were established by different orders, e.g. Piarists. Piarists established their second and at the same time their fifth oldest college on the Czech territory in Slaný in 1658. Submitted bachelor thesis draws near the development of the grammar school in Slaný during years 1878 ? 1920. The thesis follows up the faculty, the numbers of students and their social structure, the changes in education and success in studies, namely based on performed probes. Thereinafter it follows up also an issue of school-leaving exams or famous people who are connected to this grammar school in some detail. Another responsib.
