Není lic. smlouva Abstract Cílem byla aplikace znalostí na již existujícím objektu, tzn. celková rekonstrukce historické budovy pocházející z přelomu 17. a 18. století, jež je v současné době ovlivněna barokem a empírem. Účel stavby vyplývá z místa, kde se nachází. Záměrem bylo vytvoření veřejného místa - tedy kulturního centra, které by opětovně združovalo různé skupiny lidí. Po několika variantách jsem si zvolila vyjádření kulturního centra v podobě menší galerie a kavárny. Rozhodla jsem se vložit do historicky řešeného domu nový moderní prvek, který by zašlé zapomenuté stavení nenásilně, ale zároveň provokativně znovu rozzářil svěžestí. Tento prvek jsem odvodila z historické události domu a stal se nejdůležitějším faktorem diplomové práce. Dům totiž v minulosti utrpěl částečným zborcením na východní straně vyvolaný rozvodněním řeky Střely a následnou velkou povodní. Tato informace, že dům násilně změnil svoji podobu a zároveň potřeba dostat do určitých částí více přírodního světla, mě přivedli k myšlence prosklít celou východní část domu a tím tak podtrhnout a vyzdvihnout fakt, že se v minulosti jedním z architektů tohoto objektu stala i sama příroda.
