Note Ved. práce Lenka Hlavičková Abstract Diplomová práce je zaměřena na tělesné tresty ve výchově dětí. V teoretické části se zabývá výchovou dětí, jejích důležitých aspektů a prostředků výchovy. Druhá kapitola se zabývá užíváním trestů ve výchově dětí, jejich funkcí a dopadem na vývoj dítěte. Podrobněji se zaměřuje na tělesné tresty a upozorňuje na jejich zápory a nebezpečí pro vývoj osobnosti dítěte. Zmiňuje se o tělesných trestech naplňujících podstatu tělesného týrání. Praktická část diplomové práce analyzuje v rámci kvantitativního výzkumu postoje a názory současných rodičů na tělesné tresty ve výchově dětí a zjišťuje, zda tyto postoje a názory naplňují definici tělesného týrání. Ověřuje, zda rodiče chtějí vychovávat děti bez tělesných trestů a pokud ano, zda je tedy nepoužívají. Dále zjišťuje, jestli rodiče s tělesnými tresty souhlasí, protože je sami používají. K tomuto účelu byl vytvořen dotazník s devíti tvrzeními, na která respondenti odpovídali ano, nebo ne či mohli doplnit vlastní odpověď. The graduation thesis is aimed at physical punishment in family education. The theoretic part concerns with children education, its functions and education methods. Second chapter is concerned with using physical punishment in children education and point out its negatives and dangerous for development of children personality. It also mentions physical punishment which becomes a physical child abuse. The practical part of the thesis analyzes attitudes and opinions of contemporary parents on physical punishment of children through quantitative research and finding out whether these attitudes and opinions correspond to definition of physical child abuse. It is verified whether parents would like to raise children without physical punishment and if they want whether they do so. Future it is verified if parents agreed with using physical punishment, because they use it by themselves.
