Dále se práce zabývá rozdělením fraktálů a možnostmi jejich generování. Též jsou zde zmíněny metody analýzy fraktálních povrchů, křivek. U používaných metod je vysvětlení obsáhle, aby čtenář byl schopen získat představu o přesném postupu a případné možnosti vlastního použití. Praktická část v sobě nese otestování naprogramovaných analyzátorů fraktální dimenze na známých objektech a jejich následné uplatnění na nagenerovaných objektech a datech reálného povrchu. Analyzován je jak celý povrch, tak pouze jeho řezy. Porovnávány jsou vizuálně zpětně na základě určené fraktální dimenze povrchu a řezu, povrchy resp. křivky, histogramy a obrazově znázorněné ony fraktály. V závěru práce jsou výsledky diskutovány.
