Tato snaha přirozeně vede k diskuzi zda a jaké autentické texty ve výuce používat, zejména pak v oblasti poslechu, která může být pro žáky náročnější vzhledem k nutnosti rychle zpracovávat informace. Tato práce rozvíjí předpoklad, že použití autentických textů v poslechu má ve výuce cizího jazyka své nezastupitelné místo, nicméně pedagog je musí používat uvědoměle a dodržovat základní metodologické postupy. V teoretické části se tato práce zabývá možnými pozitivními i negativními vlivy, které mohou na žáka v průběhu poslechu autentických textů působit, a metodologickými postupy, jak se případných negativních vlivů vyvarovat a co nejvíce podporovat rozvoj a sebevědomí žáka v této oblasti. Výzkumná část diplomové práce pak zahrnuje průzkum a experiment. Cílem průzkumu je zjistit, zda a jaké typy autentických textů pedagogové na základních školách používají. Cílem experimentu, v jehož rámci byly autentické poslechové texty použity na několika základních školách, je zjistit, zda lze tyto texty začlenit do výuky a zároveň předejít negativním reakcím ze strany studentů, zejména pak stresu či pocitům úzkosti, identifikovat případné problémy a navrhnout konkrétní pedagogická opatření. The long-termed and final aim of a language teacher is to prepare his or her students, as best as possible, for an encounter with a target language in real-life situations. This effort naturally leads to a discussion whether and what kind of authentic text should be used in teaching, especially in listening, as this can be more difficult due to the lack of time available for information processing. This diploma thesis develops the hypothesis that the use of authentic texts has a significant place in language teaching, provided that a teacher uses them responsibly and respects basic methodology. The theoretical part focuses on the positive and negative influences which authentic texts may have on students in listening and on the methods to avoid possible drawbacks. It also notes the development of students? self-confidence in this area. The practical part of the diploma thesis includes research and an experiment. The objective of the research is to learn if and how authentic texts are used at elementary schools. The experiment focuses on the question whether authentic texts can be used in listening without negative effects, in particular without awakening or creating feelings of stress and anxiety in students.
