Předmětem výzkumu dějin osídlení jsou vesnice, které náležely k dominiu hradů Starý a Nový Žeberk. Některé však ležely na starém sídelním území pod horami. Kolonizace vymezené oblasti bývá spojována s osobností Alberta ze Žeberka, jehož činnost je v této práci také vykreslena. Poznání problémů dosti limituje dochované množství písemných a hmotných pramenů. This thesis treats of development about medieval settlement on the Czech side of the Krušné hory. The subject of research about settlement history are villages, that belonged to dominium of castles named Old and New Žeberk. Some of them were located on an old development area beneath mountains. The colonisation of defined area used to be associated with Albert from Žeberk, whose activity is described in the thesis too.
