Note Lic. smlouva Abstract Bakalářská práce nazvaná ?Biopaliva ? alternativa budoucnosti?? je zhodnocením biopaliv a jejich možnosti nahradit fosilní paliva v dopravě. Práce popisuje současnou situaci biopaliv využívaných v dopravě, zdroje pro jejich výrobu, výhody a nevýhody jednotlivých generací biopaliv, uvádí přehled legislativních předpisů, které řeší problematiku biopaliv jak v rámci Evropské unie, tak v České republice a poukazuje na rozdíly v přístupu některých zemí k podpoře biopaliv. Práce se zaměřuje na ekologické a ekonomické aspekty spojené s výrobou biopaliv a jejich využíváním v silniční dopravě. Cílem práce je posoudit jaké efekty přinese využití biopaliv v dopravě a zda biopaliva mohou být vhodnou alternativou automobilového benzínu a motorové nafty. Zjistila jsem, že v současné době vyráběná biopaliva nejsou řešením energetických problémů paliv využívaných v dopravě, ani nepřispějí ke snížení emisí skleníkových plynů. The bachelor?s thesis entitled ?Biofuels ? alternative for the future?? is concerned with evaluation of biofuels and their ability to replace fossil fuels in transport. The thesis describes the current state of affairs in the use of biofuels in transport, the sources for their production and advantages and drawbacks of the individual generations of biofuels, provides an overview of the legislation dealing with the aspects of biofuels, both in the European Union and in the Czech Republic, and points out the differences in the approaches of certain countries to the support for biofuels. The thesis concentrates on environmental and economic aspects connected with the production of biofuels and their utilization in road transport. The thesis aims to assess the effects of utilization of biofuels in transport and whether biofuels could become a suitable alternative to automobile petrol and diesel fuel. I have ascertained that the currently produced biofuels do not provide a solution to energy issues connected with fuels used in transport, nor will they contribute to reduction in emissions of greenhouse gases.
