Zabývá se problematikou samostatnosti a soběstačnosti nevidomých žen. Není přesným návodem, jak by tyto ženy měly být edukovány na novou roli, ale reflektováním této problematiky. Stejně jako má intaktní společnost právo plodit děti, mají i lidé se zrakovým postižením nárok na mateřství. Cílem bylo analyzovat zkušenosti v období těhotenství a péče o dítě dvou zrakově postižených žen. Došla jsem k závěru, že zrakově postižené ženy jsou plně srovnatelné s intaktní společností, vždy záleží na aktivním přístupu k životu a adaptaci na handicap. V moderní společnosti je na zrakově postižené pohlíženo jako na ne-atraktivní, což může vést k sociálnímu vyloučení těchto lidí.
