Zachycuje jeho vývoj v celé dvacetileté historii. Ukazuje na počáteční velký zájem a nadšení pro tento sport, na jeho postupnou modernizaci a jeho modifikace. Popisuje rovněž podmínky pro trénink, jejich zlepšování a zhoršování v průběhu historie. Dokládá také důležitost práce trenérů. Diplomová práce se rovněž zaobírá stálé se měnícím a postupně klesajícím počtem členské základny, odlivem závodníků do jiného oddílu až přetrvávajícímu ustrnutí v činnosti klubu. Přesto řada členů dosahuje dobrých výsledků, někteří získávají medaile a tituly z mistrovství republiky a probojují se až do reprezentace. This diploma thesis deals with the history of The Doksy Orienteering Club. It covers the club's evolution during whole 20-year long history. It describes great interest and enthusiasm about this sport at the beginning of club's existence as well as club's modernization and modifications. It also covers conditions for athletes training, how the conditions improved and deteriorated throughout the history. The thesis illustrates the importance of the coach's work too. It also describes the variable and gradually decreasing number of club's members and transitions of club's athletes to other clubs, which lead to current club activity stagnation. Despite given facts plenty of the members achieve good accomplishments, some of them even win the medals and titles at the Czech Republic's Championships and fight their way to the national team.
