Note Ved. práce Miroslav Němec. Autor neodevzdal lic. smlouvu Abstract Tato práce se zabývá zřízením a prvními roky činnosti Památníku národního utrpení v Terezíně. Nejprve se autorka věnuje postavení židovského obyvatelstva v osvobozeném Československu a dokládá, že již před komunistickým pučem v únoru 1948 se zhoršovalo jejich postavení ve společnosti. To se později projevilo i v ideologické náplni nově zřízeného Památníku Terezín, kdy byla potlačována vzpomínka na utrpení židovského obyvatelstva v ghettu Terezín a vyzdvihováno utrpení a hrdinství českých politických vězňů. Práce se věnuje také uplatnění výhradního práva většinové společnosti na připomínání obětí nacismu v Československu a Polsku (Státní muzeum v Osvětimi-Březince). V další části se autorka věnuje vzniku {\clq}qMuzea útisku českého a slovenského národa v letech 1939-1945`` a jeho výstavní činnosti. Na konkrétních příkladech dokazuje, že se komunistický režim snažil cíleně pomocí cenzury umenšit památku židovský obětí. V posledním tématickém okruhu se věnuje transformaci Památníku Terezín z hospodářského a politického hlediska. Popisuje ukončení činnosti přidruženého zemědělského hospodářství v listopadu 1949 a časté organizační převody Památníku, které se negativně projevily na úpravě památných míst. Nakonec se autorka věnuje i personálnímu obsazení vedoucích pozic v Památníku, které zajišťovali politické a ideologické směřování této instituce. This thesis deals with the founding and the early years of the activity of the National Suffering Memorial in Terezín. The author first focuses on the status of the Jewish citizens in the society of the liberated Czechoslovakia and argues that Jews were becoming more and more disadvantaged even before the communist push in February 1948. This was later reflected in the ideological aims of the newly founded Terezín Memorial when the remembrance of the suffering of the Jewish citizens was suppressed while the achievements of the political prisoners were lifted up. The thesis also deals with the right of the majority of society to remember the victims of the Nazis in Czechoslovakia and Poland (The State Museum of Auschwitz-Birkenau). The author devotes the second part of the thesis to the foundation of ``The Museum of Oppression of the Czech and Slovak Nation in 1938-1945'q and to its exhibiting activity. She refers to specific examples to show that by censorship the communist regime intentionally tried to downsize the memory of the Jewish victims. Lastly, the author examines the transformation of the Terezín Memorial from an economical and political point of view. She describes the process of closing the attached agricultural activity in November 1949 and the frequent organizational changes at the Memorial that had negative effects on the memorial sites. Towards the end of the thesis the author gives attention to the leadership staff of the Memorial who is providing the ideological and political direction for this institution. Another responsib.
