Úvodní část pojednává o jeho dětství, studiu na litoměřickém gymnáziu a následně o studiích v Praze. V dalších kapitolách poznáme A. Klara jako pedagoga, zakladatele slepeckého ústavu a umělecké nadace. Seznámíme se i s Klarovou spisovatelskou a publicistickou tvorbou. Pokračovateli jeho idey byli syn Pavel Alois Klar a vnuk Rudolf Maria Klar. Paralelně je zde nastíněn soukromý život Klarů. Součástí diplomové práce jsou ukázky z tvorby a soukromé korespondence včetně obrazové přílohy. The graduation thesis is a guide through the life of Alois Klar. The opening part is aimed at his childhood, studies at the gymnasium in Litomerice as well as follow-up studies in Prague. In the next parts of the thesis A. Klar is recognized as a pedagogue, promoter of the institute for blind persons and also the art foundation. We will also become acquainted with Klar's writting and publishing efforts. Klar's ideas were further spread by his son Pavel Aloys Klar and grandson Rudolf Maria Klar.
