Note Lic. smlouva Abstract Ústředním tématem této bakalářské práce je Analýza a srovnání podmínek života klientů se středně těžkým stupněm mentálního postižení v domácím a ústavním prostředí. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na vymezení problematiky mentální retardace a na charakteristiku a rizika ústavní péče v domovech pro osoby se zdravotním postižením. Další kapitola je věnována rodině, která se rozhodla pečovat o své postižené dítě. Popisuje reakce rodičů na narození postiženého dítěte, výchovné přístupy rodin, vztahy mezi sourozenci a vlivy přítomnosti postiženého dítěte na rodinu. V praktické části práce byly vymezeny jednotlivé oblasti podmínek života osob s mentálním postižením a tyto oblasti byly v rámci případového šetření u klientky v domácím a ústavním prostředí analyzovány. V závěru jsou shrnuty výsledky, kterých bylo šetřením dosaženo. The core topic of this bachelor´s work is The analysis and comparison of the life conditions of the two clients with a moderate mental retardation in the family and institutional environment. The theoretical part of the work is focused on the definition of the mental retardation and on the characteristics and risks of the institutional care at the Home for mentally handicapped people. The next chapter speaks about the family which have decided to care of their mental handicapped child. It describes the first reactions of parents on a new-born child with a handicap, their possible approaches to the upbringing, the relations between siblings and the influences of the presence of handicapped child on the family. There are defined the individual spheres of the life conditions of mental handicapped persons in the practical part of the bachelor´s work. These spheres were analyzed through the case study.
