Abstract Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na zjišťování dětských pojetí postižení u žáků základních škol a základní školy praktické. Teoretická část sestává z přehledu a charakteristiky jednotlivých druhů postižení a z teoretického vymezení dětských pojetí (prekonceptů) a jejich diagnostiky. Dále je zde věnována pozornost rámcovému vzdělávacímu programu a vzdělávacím oblastem, v jejichž rámci se žáci při školní výuce setkávají s problematikou postižených lidí. V empirické části jsou prezentovány výsledky realizované výzkumné studie zaměřené na zjišťování dětských pojetí vybraných postižení a také na porovnání těchto dětských pojetí mezi žáky z různých typů škol (základní škola, základní škola praktická) v oblasti Šluknovského výběžku v Ústeckém kraji. Výzkumné studie se zúčastnilo 211 respondentů. Pro sběr dat byl použit dotazník a pojmové mapy, vytvořené speciálně pro tento výzkum. V diplomové práci jsou diskutovány dosažené výsledky a jejich vazba k odlišnému klimatu a charakteru škol, ve kterých jsou sledovaní respondenti vzděláváni. This thesis focuses on researching how pupils of elementary schools and elementary practical schools perceive handicapped children. The theoretical part consists of an overview and a description of particular types of handicaps and of a theoretical definition of various children's conceptions (preconcepts) thereof and their diagnostics. In addition, this part also deals with a framework educational programme and educational areas within which pupils in the course of their schooling encounter issues relating to handicapped people. The empirical part presents findings of a specifically conducted research study focused on examination of children's conceptions of selected handicaps as well as on a comparison of these conceptions among pupils from the 5th, 7th and 9th grade of various types of schools (elementary school, elementary practical school) in the geographical area of the Šluknov hook in the region of Ústí nad Labem. This research study involved 211 respondents. A questionnaire together with concept maps was designed especially for the purpose of this research. This thesis elaborates on the findings obtained in the study and their connotation in the context of a specific environment and characteristic features of the schools in which the respondents undergo their education.
