Cílem této práce je zanalyzovat a porovnat vlastnosti a typické rysy reálných a fiktivních "Hollywoodských" učitelů ve snaze ukázat jaký vliv mají tito učitelé na své žáky a jaká očekávání od skutečných učitelů tím budí v divácích.. -- Abstract: This diploma thesis titled "Idealistic portrayal of teachers within American film" examines the portrayal of the characters of teachers in several American films. Its aim is to analyse and compare the attributes and characteristics of real and fictional "Hollywood" teachers in order to show how these particular teachers influence their students and what expectations of real teachers does it create within the audience.
