V práci se věnujeme počátkům fotbalu v Čechách, na které navazuje samotné založení klubu v roce 1946. Následně popisujeme jeho vývoj a události, které tento klub z vesnice o necelých 400 obyvatelích přivedly do nejvyšší české fotbalové soutěže, až po jeho úplný zánik v roce 2016. V práci poukážeme na důležité osobnosti, které měli vliv na vývoj klubu a které v Blšanech odstartovaly kariéru v nejvyšších světových fotbalových soutěžích. Vše je doplněno o dobové fotografie a statistiky z jednotlivých sezón. V příloze je zpracován rozhovor s pamětníkem a bývalým funkcionářem FK Chmel Blšany Robertem Jankem, který zažil zlatou éru fotbalu v Blšanech, kde v současné době udržuje areál bývalého klubu v provozu.. -- Abstract: The bachelor thesis deals with the history of the football club FK Chmel Blšany. In this work, we focus on the beginnings of football in the Czech Republic, followed by the continuation of the founding of the club in 1946. The comments describe its development and events, which this club from a village of less than 400 inhabitants belongs to the highest Czech football competition, until its complete demise in 2016 In the thesis, we will highlight important personalities who had an influence on the development of the club and who started their careers in the highest world football competitions in Blšany. Everything is supplemented with period photos and statistics from individual seasons. The appendix contains an interview with a witness and former official of FK Chmel Blšany, Robert Janek, who experienced the golden era of football in Blšany and currently keeps the grounds of the former club in operation.
