Oba termíny se shodně používají pro popis určitých specifických jazykových jevů. Cílem práce je zjistit, do jaké míry se oba fenomény v textech překrývají. Na základě odborné literatury bude nejprve vysvětleno, co oba termíny znamenají a co mohou zahrnovat; následně bude na základě vybraných německojazyčných příkladů zkoumáno, jak spolu katachreze a frazeologická modifikace korelují.. -- Abstract: The topic of this thesis is a comparison between catachresis and phraseological modification. Both terms share the trait of being used to describe certain conspicuities in language use. The aim of this paper is to identify how catachresis and phraseological modification can overlap in text units. For this, both terms are first elaborated on a theoretical and conceptual level using relevant specialized literature. Based on this, the correlation of the two phenomena is examined and illustrated through selected German-language citations.
