Hlavním cílem bylo dotazníkové šetření, které mělo ověřit znalost odsouzených. Dotazníkové šetření obsahovalo padesát lexikálních prostředků, u kterých měli odsouzení možnost volby odpovědi. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí a to teoretické a praktické. Do teoretické části spadá vysvětlení pojmů slangu a argotu a funkce Ostrovské věznice. V části praktické se setkáváme s významy padesáti lexikálních prostředků a jejich frekvence.. -- Abstract: This Bachelor's thesis deals with the speech of prisoners, so with the slang and argot in the prison Ostrov. The main aim was the questionnaire survey, which should have verified the knowledge of convicted (prisoners). The questionnaire survey contained fifty lexical means the prisoners were free to choose. The thesis is composed of two parts, especially theoretical and practical part. Within the theoretical part fall the explanation of terms slang and argot and the function of the Ostrov's prison. In the practical part we encounter with meanings of fifty lexical means and their frequency.
