Text postupně analyzuje její projevy od utopických myšlenek první poloviny 20. století po vybrané současné umělecké přístupy, které pracují s různými strategiemi institucionální kritiky (odhalování, zviditelňování, provokování i tematizování institucionálního pozadí). Stručně je zmíněna diskuze v anglo-americké teorii umění Arthura Danta, George Dickieho a Richarda Wollheima. Součástí teoretické části je uvedení konkrétních realizací především na poli výtvarného umění v dílech Michaela Ashera, Andrei Fraser, Dominika Langa i nejaktuálnější projevy v kontextu institucionální kritiky. Praktická část předložené práce popisuje proces vzniku vlastní realizace uměleckého projektu s názvem Hranice.. -- Abstract: Theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals with the discourse of the institutional critic. The text is gradually analyzing its manifestations, from the utopian thoughts of the first half of the 20th century to the selected contemporary artistic approaches, which work with different strategies of the institutional critic (revealing, visualizing, provoking, even particularizing of the institutional background). The thesis briefly mentions the discussions of Arthur Dant, George Dickie and Richard Wollheim about the Anglo-American theory of art. Theoretical part also introduces specific realizations, especially in the field of art, in the works of Michael Asher, Andrei Fraser and Dominik Lang. It also presents the most current manifestations in the context of the institutional critic. In the practical part we analyzed the realization of the thesis, which is also incorporated into a context of institutional critique.
