Tolkiena / Barbora Pavlovská. -- 2016. -- 48 listů. -- Vedoucí práce Jiří Hoblík. -- Abstract: Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá interpretací náboženských idejí příběhu Pána Prstenů od známého britského spisovatele J. R. R. Tolkiena a výkladem tohoto díla vzhledem k jeho zdrojům v předkřesťanské mytologii a středověké literatuře. Práce analyzuje náboženské prvky díla a následně je srovnává s motivy křesťanské i předkřesťanské látky, především ze severské mytologie. Závěr práce shrnuje zkoumání díla jako autorské transformace mýtu a úlohu těchto idejí pro význam díla jako celku.. -- Abstract: This thesis concerns with an interpretation of the religious thoughts of the narrative of The Lord of the Rings by famous British writer J. R. R. Tolkien and with an interpretation of this work in reference to its resources in pre-Christian mythology and medieval literature. The thesis analyses the religious elements and compares them with Christian and pre-Christian motifs, mostly taken from Norse mythology. Conclusion of the thesis includes the general summary of the researching and summarizes the importance of the religious thoughts in The Lord of the Rings for the work as a whole.
