Hlavními záměry práce je zjistit, jak vypadají postavy Čechů v současných německých filmech a do jaké míry jsou tyto obrazy ovlivněny stereotypy o Češích. Pro analýzu a popis postav Čechů byly použity úryvky z následujících filmů: - Das siebte Foto, 2003, Jörg Lühdorff, krimi thriller, 96 min. - Grenzverkehr, 2005, Stefan Betz, teenagerovská komedie, 88 min. - Ein Sommer lang, 2006, Steffi Niederzoll, drama/romance, 28 min. Práce analyzuje podle předem stanovených kritérií zvolené úseky filmů, detailně popisuje v nich obsažené zobrazení Čechů a do jaké míry jsou tyto obrazy ovlivněny stereotypy o Češích, popř. co taková zobrazení vypovídají o porozumění české mentality ze strany Němců. Interpretace obrazů jednotlivých postav jsou reflektovány s již existujícími stereotypy popsanými v úvodních kapitolách práce.. -- Abstract: This diploma thesis investigates the contemporary picture of Czech characters in German films made since the year 2000. The main goals of the work is to present how much are the Czech characters in German movies influenced by national stereotypes about Czech people and how these pictures look like. For sake of the analysis, the sequences from the following films were described and analysed: - Das siebte Foto, 2003, Jörg Lühdorff, criminal thriller, 96 min. - Grenzverkehr, 2005, Stefan Betz, teenager comedy, 88 min. - Ein Sommer lang, 2006, Steffi Niederzoll, drama/romance, 28 min. The thesis presents the selected film sequences where characterizations of Czech people occur, examining how the characters are portrayed according to the specified criteria determining the selection of the analysed films. Through this analysis the questions are then raised concerning how much these portraits are influenced by existing stereotypes and what can be deduced from the German understanding of Czech mentality.
