V první části se zabývám se životem obou spisovatelů a jejich tvorbou. Tato část se také věnuje teoretickému vymezení úrovní srovnávaných povídek. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je porovnat, rozebrat vybrané povídky a vyvodit shody a rozdíly, které vyplývají z jejich tvorby. Při srovnání je kladen důraz na rovinu tematickou, ideovou, konstrukční a stylovou.. -- Abstract: The Bachalor thesis is focused on two important writers: J. K. Šlejhara a G. de Maupassanta. In the firt part I am dealing with the lives of authors and thein literary aktivity. This section also deals with the theoretical defined levels compared stories. The main goal of the thesis is to compare, analyze selected short stories and summarize analogies and differences result of their short shories. By analysis is an accent put to thematic, ideological, structural and stylish level.
