Alzheimerova choroba je neurodegenerativní progedující onemocnění mozku a je nejčastější přičinou syndromu demence. Teoretická část je rozdělena na obecnou část, která se zabývá vysvětlením pojmu gerontopsychiatrie, demence a Alzheimerova choroba. Část speciální je zaměřena na ucelenou rehabilitaci a ergoterapii u Alzheimerovy choroby. Hlavní část se zabývá vstupním vyšetřením, stanovením krátkodobého plánu a jeho realizací, výstupním vyšetřením a stanovením dlouhodobého plánu.. -- Abstract: This thesis discusses the possibility of using ergotherapy in gerontopsychiatry and it focuses on Alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer's disease is a neurodegenerative progressive brain disease which is the most common cause of dementia syndrome. The theoretical part is divided into general and special sections. In the general section the terms gerontopsychiatry, dementia and Alzheimer's disease are explained. The special section focuses on comprehensive rehabilitation and the application of ergotherapy in Alzheimer's disease. The main part of the thesis involves the procedure of a baseline examination followed by a description of a short-term plan and its subsequent implementation. In addition, the procedure of a final examination is presented and a long-term plan is proposed.
