Práce nejprve nastiňuje vývoj českého školství a pedagogiky 1900-1938. Dále poukazuje na zásadní okamžiky vývoje školství a historie s propojením na výuku dějepisu. Vymezuje důležitost a účel dějepisu v období Rakouska - Uherska a první republiky. Dále se zabývá hlavními aspekty výuky dějepisu - výběr učiva,osnovy, vyučovací formy a metody, učebnice a pomůcky, vyučovací hodina a její organizace. Vyjádřeny jsou také zásadní okamžiky pokusu o reformu dějepisu v Československu. V práci lze najít i několik vzpomínek na dějepisné vyučování.. -- Abstract: The thesis is about issue of the teaching of history from 1900 to 1938. At first the thesis sketchs the progress in czech education and pedagogy. The thesis adverts to the principal moments of the progress in education and the progress in history with connection to the teaching of history. The text shows to the importance and the object of the teaching of history during the Austro-Hungarian empire and after constitution of the Czechoslavik republic. The thesis enquires into pricipes aspects of the teaching of history - selection of curriculum, syllabus, forms and methods of teaching, textbooks and requisities in history,lesson of history and her organisation, attempt to reform in the teaching of history in the Czechoslovakia. In thesis we can find some memories in the teaching of history, too.
