První část je teoretická, zabývá se počátky lidových tradic, historií masek, skanzeny a samotnými lidovými tradicemi, které už zanikly a byly spojené s maskou či kostýmem. Druhá část je praktická a věnuje se projektu pro děti, které se v něm seznámí s tradicemi v muzeu, ve skanzenu a při vlastní tvorbě masek, dle daných předloh.. -- Abstract: This thesis is concerned with the costum and masks in the folk traditions. The first part is theoretical and it is concerned with the beginnings of the folk traditions, history of masks, open-air museums and the folk tradition itself, that has alredy disappeared, and that was associated with the mask or the costume. The second part is focused on the practical project for children, where they will get acquainted with the traditions in the museum, in the open-air museum, and their own creation of the mask, according to a set models.
