Hiporehabilitace je komplexní forma léčby pomocí koně. V přehledu teoretických poznatků práce zmiňuje historický vývoj léčebného ježdění a záznamy o historii léčebného ježdění v literatuře. Dále se snaží přiblížit současný stav hiporehabilitace v České republice a nastínit směr, kterým by se mohla nebo měla hiporehabilitace v budoucnu ubírat. Obecná část vymezuje základní pojmy, jako je léčebné ježdění, hiporehabilitace a hipoterapie. Popisuje rozdělení hiporehabilitace a charakterizuje její jednotlivé složky. Nadále se práce zaměřuje již pouze na hipoterapii, popisuje její komplexní působení na lidský organismus a její indikace a kontraindikace. Zabývá se také kineziologií pohybu člověka, zejména vlivem CNS na řízení pohybu. Speciální část popisuje kineziologii pohybu koně v kroku, specifický vliv koně na lidský organismus a analýzu pohybů koně a jezdce. Snaží se přiblížit podmínky nutné pro realizaci hipoterapie v praxi a blíže seznamuje s praktickým průběhem terapeutické jednotky se zaměřením na DMO. V této části práce jsou zmíněna hlediska výběru koně, jeho profesionalita a komunikace s koněm. Hlavní část se zaměřuje na seznámení s pacientem, s jeho anamnézou, zabývá se vstupním vyšetřením, vypracováním krátkodobého fyzioterapeutického plánu, sledováním klienta, výstupním vyšetřením a vytvořením dlouhodobého fyzioterapeutického plánu. Zhodnocení praktických výsledků se zabývá hodnocením výsledků práce a splněním či nesplněním úkolů a cílů práce.. -- Abstract: This thesis concentrates on Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies in physiotherapy. Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies are a comprehensive form of treatment by means of a horse. The historical development of therapeutic riding and records of the history of therapeutic riding in literature are presented in the summary of theoretical knowledge. It further attempts to approximate the contemporary situation of Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies in the Czech Republic and outlines the possible way of future development. The general part defines essential terms like therapeutic riding, Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies and Hippotherapy. Then it describes the division of Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies and characterizes their individual elements. The next part concentrates on hippotherapy only, describes the comprehensive effects of Hippotherapy on human body and its indications and contraindications. It also deals with the kinesiology of human movement, especially with the influence of CNS on movement control. A special part of the thesis describes kinesiology of horse gait, the specific influence of the horse on human body and analyses the movement of a horse and a human. It tries to describe the conditions necessary for realization of hippotherapy in practice (team demands, equipment etc.). It introduces the practical course of therapeutic unit focused on ICP. This part also mentions the horse selection, its professionalism, and describes the communication with a horse. The aim of the main part is the identification of the patient and his anamnesis; further it deals with the entrance examination, with working out a short-term physiotherapy plan, monitoring the client, the leaving examination and creating a long- term physiotherapy plan. The evaluation of outcomes deals with the interpretation of results of the thesis and with fulfilling or not fulfilling the aims and objectives of the thesis.
