Dílo je analyzováno z hlediska historicko-sociálního a filosofického kontextu. Výzkum se přitom zaměřuje na typické znaky dané epochy (první poloviny 19. století), které jsou v dramatu tematizovány.. -- Abstract: This work is considered with a drama from author George Büchner, titled Woyzeck, which takes place in the first half of the 19th century and is based on a true case. My thesis provides an analysis of this drama in historical and social context. Its main goal is to analyze three following aspects included in the drama: - Love and family, - Work and social question, - Science and medicine. These aspects try to prove a relationship between Büchners Woyzeck and so called Vormärz society.
