V práci se objevují jak teoretické, tak i prakticky zaměřené části, které naznačují aplikovatelnost teorií na demografickou a socio-ekonomickou situaci v Ústeckém kraji v roce 2006. Součástí práce jsou mimo samotného textu i tabulky a grafy, které dokládají platnost teoretických tvrzení.. -- Abstract: The diploma thesis covers the relationships of chosen demographical characteristics with one another and also with other mainly socioeconomic attributes. The paper includes both theoretical and specifically-oriented parts. The latter are to prove the validity of the former and their relevance to demographic and socioeconomic environment in Ústecký region in 2006. The thesis also includes (except the text itself) a number of charts and diagrams which are to support the explanations of the aforementioned realtionships.
