Vzhledem ke stárnutí populace a nutnosti důchodové reformy se práce také zaměřuje na využití životního pojištění jako alternativního nástroje ke krytí potřeb ve stáří.. -- Abstract: The goal of the thesis "The Analysis of the life insurance in the Czech Republic" is to describe the life insurance development and the present state of the life insurance in the Czech insurance market.It also deals with the causes of the doldrums in the Czech life insurance market and it posts in the new trends of the life insurance in the Czech Republic. With reference to the population aging and the need for the pension reform the work is also focused on the using life insurance like the alternate instrument to financing of needs at the old age.
