Teoretická analýza odborné literatury shrnuje tuto problematiku. Cíl: Cílem této bakalářské práce je přiblížit problematiku ergoterapie u dítěte s Downovým syndromem v adolescentním věku. Metodika: Teoretická část se zabývá etiologií, diagnostikou, rozdělením, projevy, terapeutickými možnostmi u Downova syndromu. Náplní praktické části je intervence s konkrétním klientem - odebrání anamnézy, provedení vstupního vyšetření, sestavení krátkodobého ergoterapeutického plánu, popis vlastních terapií a návrh dlouhodobého ergoterapeutického plánu. Terapie byly zaměřeny na hrubou a jemnou motoriku, rovnováhu na labilních plochách, na hodnocení soběstačnosti v rámci ADL. Dále následuje shrnutí práce s klientem, zhodnocení dosažených cílů terapie a prognóza. Výsledky: Ukázaly pozitivní vliv ergoterapeutické intervence u dítěte v adolescentním věku s DS. Závěr: Zhodnocení cílů bakalářské práce. Přínos ergoterapeutické intervence u klienta. -- Abstract: Introduction: The bachelor's thesis analyzes the use of occupational therapy intervention in children with Down syndrome. The theoretical analysis of professional literature summarizes this issue. Objective: The objective of this bachelor's thesis is to approach the issue of occupational therapy for a child with Down syndrome in adolescence. Methodology: The theoretical part deals with etiology, diagnostics, classification, manifestations, therapeutic options in Down syndrome. The content of the practical part is intervention with a specific client - taking a medical history, performing an initial examination, compiling a short-term occupational therapy plan, describing one's own therapies and proposing a long-term occupational therapy plan. The therapies were focused on gross and fine motor skills, balance on unstable surfaces, and assessing self-sufficiency within ADL. This is followed by a summary of work with the client, evaluation of achieved therapy goals, and prognosis. Results: They showed a positive effect of occupational therapy intervention by adolescent child with DS Conclusion: Evaluation of the objectives of the bachelor's thesis. The benefit of occupational therapy intervention for the client.
