(71 431 znaků) : il., grafy. -- Ved. práce Marcel Mochal. -- Oponent Jana Trombíková. -- Abstract: Diplomová práce prozkoumává téma pohřební kultury a designu a jejich vliv na proces truchlení a vnímání smrti v současné společnosti. Cílem je identifikovat potřeby pozůstalých, zanalyzovat aktuální smuteční praktiky a objekty, poukázat na dané problematiky a reagovat ve formě uměleckých objektů. V práci se zabývám kritickými otázkami současné funerální kultury, jako jsou ztráta lidskosti při standardizovaných pohřbech, očekávání a přání pozůstalých, a také současnou nabídkou funerálních obřadů a objektů, které reflektují měnící se potřeby společnosti. V reakci na tyto výzvy vznikly objekty na pomezí designu a umění - rituální objekt, který pracuje s haptickými smysly a nabízí nový způsob interakce mezi pozůstalými a zesnulými a skleněné vzpomínkové monumenty. Motivací diplomové práce je přinést novou dimenzi funerálním zvykům, přispět k procesu vyrovnávání se se ztrátou blízké osoby a uctění její památky.. -- Abstract: The thesis explores the topic of funeral culture and design and their influence on the process of mourning and the perception of death in contemporary society. The paper aims to identify the needs of the bereaved, analyze current funeral practices and objects, highlight the issues, and respond in the form of art objects. I address critical issues of contemporary funerary culture, such as the loss of humanity in standardized funerals, the expectations and wishes of the bereaved, and the current range of funerary rituals and objects that reflect the changing needs of society. In response to these challenges, artistic objects have been developed at the intersection of design and art - such as a ritual vessel engaging the haptic senses and offers a new way of interaction between the bereaved and the deceased, and glass memorial monuments. The motivation of the thesis is to bring a new dimension to funeral customs, to contribute to the process of coping with the loss of a loved one and honoring their memory.
